Our products.
Here I am going to be showing you some of the products and cake toppers we make. We make 2 kinds, wafer paper and icing sheets. THEY ARE ALL EDIBLE. When you buy a product a sheet of instructions will come with it also, explaining what to do and how to do it. It also states that the edible sheets are suitable for vegetarians. The instructions are as follows.
Icing sheets.
The icing sheets have a shelf life of up to 6 month. when it is sealed. They must be kept in a cool dry place. I recommend using the sheet for you creation as soon as the desired time as possible. Some factors that effect the sheets are for instance the humidity in the air can effect the ink if to wet and there is a possibility of them drying out if they are left not covered.
The removal of the backing sheet.
simply remove all of the packaging and place it in the freezer for a few minutes keeping an eye on the sheet at all times for it to remove its self from the backing sheet. Place it then onto the prepared cake and do not remove as it may tear. Do this as quick as possible once removed out of the freezer.
Applying you icing sheet.
There are many different ways you can do this. If the cake is iced then brush the icing with a little water to make it sticky(not wet) or with boiled jam cooled, no lumps and not wet. Apply immediately after before it sets and the most important thing is not to wet it because holes may appear and the ink could run. If you do tear do not wet it just simply take a dry finger and press it back, this should work.
Please not that in terms of humidity you may find it difficult to remove the icing sheet from the backing, i suggest playing the sheet into the oven on the lowest setting for 5-10 minutes, never leave the sheet unattended.

Wafer paper
These are the instructions for the edible wafer paper.
Store it in a cool dry place. They can be used up to 6 month from purchase.
When ready to use wash your hands and dry them before starting as the water may smudge the ink.
Due to the wafer paper being transparent, for best results use white icing gel.
Melted chocolate also works well, just put a good amount on the top of the cake and carefully place the topper down on top. for great results its better using butter icing and stand the toppers in the cakes like coins, this is a personal thought. This is also suitable for vegetarians.
They contain potato starch, veg oil and water.
